This is your opportunity to become a part of our amazing team within the Debt Management Development Tribe.We are seeking a Java Software Engineer to implement and integrate a new Debt Collection system at Danske Bank.You will collaborate with a diverse team of skilled architects, developers, and business analysts who share a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.Your roleYour role will include opportunities to learn, exchange your knowledge with others, contribute to existing solutions and do things from scratch. Your contributions will be crucial in transforming the Debt Management area, evolving from a well-established project to an agile development unit while maintaining a high level of expertise and attitudeAs part of our team, you will develop, deploy, maintain and support our solutions with an end-to-end ownership mindset. Your drive and ideas will be highly valued as you create sustainable solutions inspired by best practices, with a strong emphasis on clean code. You will work closely with architects, developers and business analysts to ensure smooth progress on our projects.About youYou have experience in Java application development and infrastructure, along with a natural interest in understanding our solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing fixes. You are keen to gain business and domain understanding and bring a positive, friendly attitude with an eagerness to learn.Whilst you’re willing to take on any type of tasks, we imagine you:

• Are good at teamwork and collaboration skills
• Have an advanced knowledge of core Java, object-oriented programming, and version control and DevOps
• Work in a microservice architecture with Java, Spring framework, database and RabbitMQ and Docker
• Strive towards good programming principles, for instance extensibility, maintainability, reliability, security, scalability, testability, and readability
• Also have a broad experience in technology by having multiple technical areas of expertise
• Can apply frameworks, build tools, CI/CD, design patterns, databases, and testing techniques at an advanced level
