You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and implementing contracts, guiding cross-functional teams, and managing the legal aspects of business partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional to contribute to a fast-growing fintech company and help shape the future of its expansion in Finland.Accountabilities:
- Act as a key legal advisor balancing compliance with innovation to drive business growth.
- Draft, review, and implement loan agreements, ensuring compliance with Finnish consumer credit laws.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure that the company remains compliant.
- Lead negotiations and prepare legal documents for business partnerships, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Provide legal guidance to internal teams and handle complex legal issues, including customer complaints and regulatory queries.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Law from a Finnish university, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role (in-house or law firm).
- Extensive knowledge of Finnish consumer credit regulations and their application in business.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills for business agreements and partnerships.
- Experience managing customer complaints and regulatory issues while safeguarding the company’s interests.
- Ability to advise cross-functional teams and implement legal changes in a fast-paced environment.
