Multitude was founded in Finland in 2005 and is listed on the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol ‘E41’.Are you an experienced legal professional passionate about supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) while driving innovation in the fintech sector?CapitalBox, a leading SME lender in Europe and part of the Multitude Group, is seeking a dynamic Senior Legal Advisor to play a pivotal role in shaping our legal and regulatory landscape.As a Senior Legal Advisor, you’ll be the cornerstone of our legal framework, collaborate closely with internal teams and external legal partners, navigating complex regulations and supporting the growth of CapitalBox.Your Focus:

• Primary Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between CapitalBox and external legal firms, ensuring seamless debt origination processes.
• Legal Oversight: Oversee the structuring and documentation of SME debt facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Regulatory Expertise: Monitor and analyze changes in European SME lending laws, providing proactive guidance to internal teams and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Strategic Legal Support: Offer expert advice to senior management on SME lending matters, contributing to strategic initiatives such as market expansion and product development.
• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance debt origination workflows, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, compliance, and risk departments to align legal strategies with operational priorities.
• Document Accuracy: Review and approve legal documentation, ensuring precision and compliance with applicable laws.

Your background:

• A Master’s degree or equivalent legal qualification from a recognized institution.

• Authorization to practice law in at least one European jurisdiction.

• 10+ years of legal experience, with a focus on debt origination or related fields.

• Expertise in European SME lending regulations and structuring secured debt products.

• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
