If You have interest in Team Leading, please let us know – this might be possible for near future in this role.You will develop productive relationships with business leaders across our organization to influence how applications can provide value. Also, you’ll oversee the management of our enterprise applications portfolio, ensuring it meets current and future business requirements and identify opportunities for system modernization, integration, automation, and rationalization. You will be part of a skilled and professional Application Management team. Your teammates will include Application Domain Managers, Application Managers, and Main Users. An important part of the role is to further develop the Patria Application Management.Tasks

• Safeguard the reliability, availability, and performance of our enterprise applications.
• Implement best practices for application life cycle management – including development, deployment, maintenance and support.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners.
• Collaborate with IT sourcing for opportunities to develop the vendor portfolio.
• Ensure enterprise applications comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Oversee risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with applications.
• Develop and manage the budget for enterprise applications, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure services provided and consumed by applications provide value for business.
• Rationalization of Patria application portfolio.

Qualifications

• Studies in computer systems or engineering.
• Extensive experience with application management.
• Experience of international defence industry or some other highly regulated business area.
• Excellent skills in both English and Finnish, both spoken and written.

Key Competences

• Application portfolio and lifecycle management.
• IT Service management good practices (ITIL, ISO20000).
• Lean or six sigma understanding.
• Architectural knowledge.
• Vendor management.
