Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.Learn about the which makes everything possible.Cytiva in Uppsala are looking for a new Senior manager for the Process control team within the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Department in Resins & Technologies business unit. Main focus areas for the section is chemical synthesis, data modeling, manufacturing transfers, and specification management. The role is an onsite role in Uppsala.What you’ll do

• You will supply projects with resources according to the needs in term of time and competences, and secure that deliveries from the section are executed in an efficient and timely manner and with appropriate quality and according to agreed standards.
• You will secure that the competence and know-how of the section members is appropriate to support the organization in the field the section is responsible for, and that competences are continuously developed via education, seminars, coaching, mentoring and individual developmental plans.
• You will drive the development of the section to improve productivity, establish processes and a strategy to secure long term technology development within the section’s responsibility areas.
• You will work in partnership with other Section managers, Project managers and Product management, R&D and other critical functions.
• You will be accountable for the working environment within your team according to the Cytiva Standards.

Who you are

• Knowledge in organic/polymer-, analytical- and/or process
• University degree in chemistry or related Life Science field
• Several years of experience in the Life Science area
• Track record of successful cross-functional collaborations
• Swedish and English as working languages
• Able to commute to our site in Uppsala on a daily basis

In order to succeed in this position you need to be motivated, result-oriented, flexible and creative with a strong collaborative attitude, focusing on the customer needs. You should also have a strong ability to motivate, lead and develop people and teams.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Strong people leader experience that can balance resources, timing and quality of outcomes as well as engaging and developing a team
