We also support leisure time activities, e.g. by offering benefits for sports and culture.More about the jobYour role in our teamMaintain and continually improve the effectiveness of Neste’s corporate Operations Excellence Management System (OEMS)Lead and develop Neste safety and quality management practices including the internal OEMS audit programProvide guidance to businesses for relevant ISO certificationsDevelop capability for example as chief internal OEMS auditor trainerCoordinate the planning and execution of the Neste corporate safety roadmapCoordinate the portfolio of corporate safety improvement programs; leading specific improvement programs as directedKeys to success in this role10+ years of relevant experience in safety and quality management: a background in safety critical / high hazard facilities such as the process and chemical industry is a plusSolid understanding of contemporary principles in safety and quality management and a proven track record of their practical applicationDemonstrated ability as a lead auditor with the ability to coach and train colleaguesAbility to build strong and meaningful relationships, influencing in a matrix organizationAbility to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of systems and processesRelevant Masters level degree, for example: safety science, chemical, mechanical or process engineeringExcellent written and verbal English and FinnishOther strengths we valueExceptional leadership skills- the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence teams at all levelsDemonstrated success driving change and fostering a proactive safety cultureBackground in lean six sigma and process thinkingExpertise in ISO Standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), ISO certification process and external auditsAbility to drive and lead multiple high priority projects simultaneouslyLet’s get you startedWe look forward to receiving your CV and application with a salary request by June 17, 2025.If you have any questions regarding the process or the position, please get in touch with Håkon Jämsén-Smith, Vice President, Safety, via email: hakon.jamsen-smith@neste.com.The recruitment process will include interviews and a possible aptitude assessment.
