We want to create the best checkout experience in the market, making it easier than ever for consumers to pay. Working in small, highly collaborative and cross functional Agile teams, you and your team will have a clear mission and ownership of an important outcome that supports Nexi and our customers. We aim for teams that are inclusive, collaborative, and have a solid sense of ownership for the things they build.Our engineers make some of the most significant decisions for the company and we are looking for forward thinking, open and curious developers.Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• As a senior .Net developer, you will work within the green field, Azure based, next generation payment processing system at Nets|Nexi. You will design, develop and deploy backend services with a focus on scalability, high availability and low latency
• Collaborate and grow in a dynamic and autonomous environment while working in small, agile and cross functional teams
• Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for our customers at a massive scale
• Be part of a team that will take full operational responsibility for the services that you own, and potentially take part in an on-call rotation
• Share your knowledge and build creative solutions while helping the team evolve best practices
• Influence the team for right design and technology implementation & give future architectural direction.

• A Senior Developer looking to take on new opportunities – build, deploy and operate world class systems in public cloud while addressing privacy, regulatory and security concerns. Strong knowledge of programming patterns and principles.
• Extensive experience with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experienced in software design and application architectures e.g. Event driven architecture & Domain Driven Design
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based solutions e.g. in Azure
• Strong knowledge of security and performance optimization
• Good at source code management, continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Able to think far in advance for the development of multiple platforms: spotting problems, bottlenecks and being able to thrive in a quick iterative delivery

Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:

• A solid knowledge of building world class scalable cloud solutions
• Deep knowledge of architectural designs that work well in regulated environments
• Deep Payments knowledge
• Practical knowledge working with an ecosystem consisted of microservices with high availability
• Deep understanding of the lifecycle of software development
