We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our global Network and Data Center team. This role involves managing daily operational duties across various technologies, including Cisco, Palo Alto, and others.Key responsibilities will include conducting system health checks, maintaining orderly IT rooms, overseeing ITSM queues for incidents and requests, and supporting project delivery.The Senior Network Engineer will also focus on refining infrastructure processes and documentation to ensure a reliable and compliant network. Collaboration with team members will be essential for creating IT Knowledge Bases (ITKBs) to assist the Service Desk in handling incidents efficiently.Additionally, the position involves managing daily tasks onsite within the data center and general campus network infrastructure. Participation in the global network and data center team is expected, including taking part in an on-call rotation as required.This is a hybrid position located at our site in Denmark.Responsibilities

• Oversee daily support and ensure the availability of the global network infrastructure, including building, configuring, administering, and supporting various network technologies and solutions.

• Serve as a technical lead in documentation, support, availability, and monitoring of network infrastructure.

• Provide briefings and advice to senior IT management regarding technology support and availability requirements, and generate solution documents and reports accordingly.

• Mentor peers and contribute to building IT/OT technical solutions from a global perspective, ensuring security.

• Offer cross-functional, multidisciplinary technical support, including evaluating and delivering project work packages, designing requirements, and developing enterprise-level IT/OT systems.

• Collaborate with the global network team to enhance the maturity of the network platform at FDB.

• Work with FDB technical architects to translate architectural designs into operational solutions and services.

• Travel will be required.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum Degree level or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant technical certifications
• 5 years, experience working with Cisco switching, Cisco Meraki, Cisco wireless and Palo Alto Firewalls as minimum.
