- Design, evaluate, and implement enterprise LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
- Develop network solutions, including platform selection, Bill of Materials (BoM), and detailed low-level designs (LLDs).
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including Visio diagrams, configuration templates, and IP addressing plans.
- Lead network change management processes, providing support during implementation.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and computing teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
- Present designs to senior management and mentor team members on best practices.
- Maintain a strong focus on network security and IoT-specific multi-tier security architectures.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years in designing and implementing data networking products and technologies.
- Routing: Expertise in BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and LISP.
- Switching: Proficient with VLAN, DOT1Q, RSTP, EtherChannel (LACP & PAgP).
- Security Protocols: Knowledge of IPSEC VPN, GRE, MAB, 802.1x, and MACSEC.
- Wireless: Experience with HD-WiFi, Cisco controllers (5520, 8540, 9800), and access points (3700, 3800, 9130 series).
- Technologies: Familiarity with QoS, Multicast, SD Access, Cisco DNAc, VxLAN, 4G/5G, WiFi 6, and IoT environments.
- Tools: Proficient in DNA Center, Wireshark, Infoblox, HPNA, Splunk, Sevone, and automation tools like Ansible.
- Programming: experience with Python and shell scripting.
- Confident English
- Candidate needs to be to be currently eligible to work in Hungary
