We are a competence centre focusing on the full life cycle of offshore pipelines, and take on the role as expert, advisor and standard setter for our clients and the industry.We deliver certification, verification, and technical advisory services related to design, technology qualification, integrity management and fitness for service assessments, life extension studies,s and operation support. Our main market is the North Sea, but we get involved in projects all over the world and especially the difficult ones that stretch the limits of steel and pipeline design.We also invest heavily in R&D in close co-operation with the industry, using our accumulated knowledge to develop tomorrow’s standards and software products. The Pipeline Technology Section in Høvik (Oslo) is the home of the world-leading submarine pipeline standard, DNV-ST-F101, and its unique suite of recommended practices.Typical tasks and expectations are:
- Carry out technical work within projects and deliver consultancy services to customers
- Quality assurance of work done by others
- Work with the development and maintenance of DNV codes and standards
- Participation in R&D projects
- Management of multi-disciplinary projects
- Work and integrate well with the pipeline, subsea teams in the department and the wider DNV organization.

- Experience with DNV-ST-F101 and related RPs
- Experience from project work and project engineering
- Experience from pipeline engineering / design
- Experience with structural analysis, FEM etc.
- Experience with programming (python, C/C++ etc.)
