You learn about the company’s culture (Principle Based Management) and continuously improve its application in daily work.Job description:As a member of the global Burner Technology team you will participating with commercial and project execution teams to meet equipment performance requirements. You will provide creative solutions to clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met while remaining competitive. Ideally, you will leverage your previous experience to understand customer needs and offer meaningful guidance and insights for both our customers and our company.

• Working closely with commercial and process teams to determine competitively engineered solutions that balance performance risk while satisfying customer requirements.
• Supporting the project execution team by performing detailed design calculations for orders, including equipment definition, performance predictions.
• Proactively investigating and resolving technical issues or warranty claims involving process design.
• Participating in technology development projects when assigned. You will identify customer needs and focus on solution-based efforts.
• Developing professional relationships with combustion SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) from industry professionals and customers remotely as well on site.
• This role requires up to 25% of global travelling.

Required profile:

• Educational background in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, petrochemical engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in process design, optimization, and implementing process improvements.
• Experience in process engineering in the refining, reforming, ethylene, or petrochemical industries.

What will put you ahead

• Master’s degree in engineering or PhD in relevant fields.
• Process Burner applications, design, operation, and/or development experience.
• Roles supporting fired combustion equipment, combustion control, or related areas.
• Process engineering role within refinery and chemical plant operations with fired equipment experience.
• Experience in technical report writing and PC programming skills with Excel VBA, and capable of quickly learning new software systems.
