Job Category: Project EngineeringJob Description:We are strengthening our engineering team with a new colleague who will use their multidisciplinary understanding in technical sales.
You will collaborate with engineers, the sales department, and customers, handle technical specifications, and use artificial intelligence as a tool. With your practical and analytical skills, combined with a commercial approach to problem-solving, you will contribute to delivering cranes and lifting equipment for both new deliveries and modifications.Our motto is “We lift together!” – a reflection of the great working environment and supportive culture we have at NOV. You will be working on the development of fully electric offshore cranes with groundbreaking technology. With a high volume of incoming orders and exciting projects, you’ll have the opportunity to grow and influence products of significant market impact.Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Technical sales for cranes and lifting equipment for both new deliveries and modifications
• Leading and carrying out cost estimates based on specific requests from customers worldwide, together with our product owners, technical disciplines, procurement organization, and production organization
• Responsibility for the necessary technical sales documentation in collaboration with technical disciplines and other internal departments
• Assisting with the execution of studies
• Assisting in developing new work methods and processes

Desired Qualifications:

• Education: You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field. Relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal qualifications
• You have strong technical understanding and experience as an engineer within the offshore, maritime, or land-based industry
• Engineering tools: Experience with tools such as AutoCAD/Inventor is an advantage
