Join an esteemed Transportation team located in Dublin, Cork, or Galway office. We are a dynamic firm that prioritizes innovative design and technical excellence, cultivating a trusted partner approach with our clients. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who is creative, organized, self-motivated, and collaborative, bringing experience in delivering multi-disciplinary designs. Ideally, the candidate should be a Chartered Engineer with a proven track record in managing projects from concept to detailed design.Key Responsibilities: * Assume the role of Senior Project Manager or Project Director for multi-disciplinary transportation projects.
- Take ownership of contract/commercial management.
- Lead the design process and provide guidance to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Manage and mentor junior staff members.
- Develop tender proposals, lead bids, and secure new commissions.
Desirable Skills/Attributes:
- Hold a degree in engineering (level 8/9) and Chartered with Engineers Ireland or equivalent professional institution.
- Possess a minimum of 10 years’ postgraduate experience, primarily in a consultancy environment.
- Proven experience in delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in Ireland/UK.
- Familiarity with all stages of a project life cycle.
- Ability to manage and lead a multi-disciplinary design team.
- Demonstrated growth potential and readiness for more senior roles and responsibilities.
- Collaborative mindset with effective communication skills (written, verbal, and presentations).
- Awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Confidence to challenge conventions and think innovatively.
- Full driving licence required.
