Location: Wexford
Salary: c. €80k+ (DOE)

Package: Vehicle, Fuel Card, Pension, BonusAbout the RoleOptimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a major 24-month civil infrastructure project in Wexford, with follow-on works planned across the region. This large-scale programme includes ducting, trenching, concrete foundations, access road development, and compound works for critical utility infrastructure. The company has a strong track record in delivering energy and grid connection projects nationwide and is expanding its footprint in the Southeast.Salary & Benefits

Responsibilities

• Lead all project activities from mobilisation to final handover
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct site teams
• Monitor programme milestones, cost targets, and quality standards
• Ensure strong compliance with HSEQ standards and procedures
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and utility providers
• Oversee procurement schedules and material planning
• Provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers and PMs as part of project leadership
• Resolve technical and logistical issues proactively

Requirements

• 7+ years’ experience managing civil infrastructure projects
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
• Strong understanding of trenching, ducting, RC works, and compound builds
• Experience on grid or utility-related projects desirable
• Excellent planning, leadership, and communication skills
• Irish or UK experience highly advantageous
