- Developing of new solutions using new technologies.
- Gathering and analysing information of external technology firms, monitor market participants and how they develop and deliver new innovative solutions.
- Serving as the innovation expert and participate in client and prospect discussions.
- Responsible for the legal and regulatory understanding of any new solution and ensuring full clarity prior to development.
- Management of resources to deliver the agreed scope for the value agreed.
- Developing business cases innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills and/or experience:
- Prior experience managing projects with risks and resource implications.
- Proven ability to articulate why we should engage with certain external firms and the positive outcomes for Northern Trust.
- Understanding of the expected outcomes of the innovation deliverable and monitor the outcomes to ensure value for investment.
- Understanding of the innovations and trends in Financial Services
- Prior experience working in different roles within programs including such as Business Analyst, Testing, Program Management and Client Engagement.
- A broad understanding of new and external technologies
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
- Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit’s goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop components of within the business as needed.
