This contract role is ideal for an experienced professional with expertise in fatigue testing, design verification, and test execution for next-generation medical devices. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, executing, and optimising complex test setups, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while improving documentation efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute design verification test setups for cutting-edge medical devices.Write and review design verification protocols and reports to regulatory standards.Perform fatigue and tensile testing using Zwick or Instron test equipment.Design and implement fixtures for testing procedures using SolidWorks.Conduct strain limit testing (pull, compress, and fatigue until failure) on Nitinol and gold components.Streamline documentation processes to enhance efficiency without compromising quality.Provide technical guidance while maintaining a collaborative and results-driven work environment.Key Requirements8-10 years’ experience in medical device design verification and testing.Proven experience in fatigue testing and verification of Nitinol (highly advantageous).Strong skills in test execution, documentation, and reporting.Expertise in SolidWorks for fixture design.Hands-on experience with Zwick or Instron tensile and fatigue testing equipment.Ability to work independently while contributing to a fast-paced R&D team.Why Join?Work on next-generation medical devices in a cutting-edge R&D environment.Contribute to an innovative programme spanning five new products.Gain hands-on experience in complex test setup design.Collaborate with a passionate and supportive team in North Dublin’s thriving medical technology sector.Apply Now!
