Learn more about Kemira at .We are now looking for a Senior Research Scientist or Research Scientist to join our Analytical Solutions team in Espoo Innovation Center. You will work in analytical laboratory supporting the development of chemistries for various business areas and applications. You will be participating in planning and executing of analytical work such as method development, validation and analysis. You will work supporting discovery, research and development projects together with the rest of the team and in close cooperation with other Kemira stakeholders.What we offer

What you need

  • Academic degree (M.Sc./PhD) in the area of analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, or other relevant field of chemistry or biochemistry. You have preferably at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Extensive experience with LC-MS -along with hands-on involvement in laboratory work – is necessary for success in this role. Experience with other chromatographic techniques such as HPLC, GC and IC is a benefit.
  • You are used to plan and perform analytical work and guide technical personnel.
  • Strong commitment and drive to further develop both safety and quality culture.
  • You have innovative and research oriented attitude and passion to solve problems and courage to drive constant improvement by challenging existing status and identifying new ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
