Avaus offers a collaborative environment with high autonomy and low hierarchy, where your curiosity, consultative mindset, and technical understanding will thrive.The RoleAs a Senior Sales Engineer at Avaus, you’ll join client-facing teams where your responsibilities span both the commercial and technical domains. You’ll engage directly with client stakeholders — from marketing leads to CTOs — to map out needs, demo solutions, and shape proposals that match our clients’ challenges.Your core responsibilities include:Acting as the technical counterpart in the sales process, supporting business development and client engagementUnderstanding client needs and translating them into tailored, scalable solutions using Avaus’ service offeringRunning product demonstrations, technical deep dives, and proof-of-conceptsCollaborating closely with Avaus’ consultants, analysts, and developers to build winning proposalsHelping shape go-to-market strategies and refine sales processes with the broader teamHelping delivering teams in strategic direction and hands-on delivery when neededWho are you?You’re a hybrid — part technologist, part strategist, part storyteller. You’re naturally curious about data, marketing, and automation, and equally comfortable discussing tech stacks and business outcomes. You love simplifying complexity and helping clients see a clear path forward.In addition to your personality, we’d also like you to bring:A background in marketing tech, data, SaaS, or consulting (either commercial or technical)An understanding of marketing automation tools, customer data platforms, cloud-based tools and platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS, Snowflake, Salesforce, Braze, Adobe, etc.)Experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or a technical sales support roleA consultative sales approach and strong presentation skillsFluent in Finnish and English. Swedish is a plusPractical information:This is a permanent position with a 6-month probation period, based in our Helsinki office. Starting date as soon as possible or by agreement.
