We lead and coordinate post-launch changes, improvement projects, transfers of assays between manufacturing sites, and support expansions into new markets. As part of these activities, we solve problems and develop new processes, methods, and procedures, assuring manufacturability and continued production of cost-effective high-quality products.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with changes that affect Cepheid’s market products. You will lead and participate in Product Life Cycle projects
- Represent the Product Transfer function to ensure compatibility with manufacturing processes and capabilities, as well as serve as technical liaison for other departments.
- Work on projects focused on medical device reagents, enzymes, and plastic consumables and will enrich the team with your expertise and experience in consumables failure investigation, troubleshooting, and development.
- Have Daily interaction with Operations, Quality Control, Regulatory, R&D, Global Supply, and other national and international functions within Cepheid.
- Continuous production of cost-effective and high-quality products through effective implementation of changes to both products and processes, participation in improvement initiatives, transfers of assays between manufacturing sites and expansions into new markets.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- PhD in Life Sciences with 2+ years of relevant professional experience, or MS in Life Sciences with 6+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Molecular Biology (PCR/RT-PCR) and Protein Biochemistry
- Experience in Reagents, Enzymes, and Consumables Development, Qualification, Investigation, and/or troubleshooting.
- Experience in Project Management within a global organization. Deep and broad expertise in Risk and Change Management.
- Excellent level of Swedish and English, written and oral.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Work experience within Operations or Manufacturing
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing, Design Verification, Design Validation, Qualification, Risk Assessment
- Experience from working in a regulated environment (ISO/GMP)
