Job Category: ITJob Description:Danske Bank’s Developer Experience Tribe is looking for a Senior Solution Architect.The Developer Experience Tribe is driving the enhancement of our developers’ productivity as part of the bank’s Forward ’28 strategy. Our strategy is simple: “Make Danske Bank a great place to be a developer”.As an enabler tribe, close collaboration with the developer community is vital to ensure that our delivered capabilities are adopted. It is also crucial that our capabilities support the compliance requirements that Danske Bank has towards security, internal audit, FSA, DPA, and other external auditors/regulators.In this role, you will be designing and documenting architecture components of the Internal Development Platform in collaboration with Developer Experience architects and engineers, as well as coordinating with Enterprise architects to ensure compliance with Danske Bank policies.You will:

• Report to the Developer Experience Tribe Architect.

• Design and document solution architectures.

• Design and document strategic architecture direction and roadmaps.

• Evaluate the impact of design decisions on the solution level.

• Ensure architecture/solutions are aligned with key initiatives and the tech strategy.

• Actively participate in annual and quarterly planning and support product owners in these events.

• Ensure architecture/solutions adhere to Danske Bank security policies, SDLC, and compliance requirements from audits and regulators.

• Support solution design by actively engaging, providing feedback on designs, and facilitating knowledge sharing between tribes and CoEs.

• Act as a sparring partner for engineers.

• Ingest, advocate, and refine best practices for software and platform engineering.

• Facilitate the adoption and utilization of industry best practices.

• Facilitate the creation of roadmaps for capabilities, tools, and processes.

• Look for opportunities to simplify and optimize the way developers work.

• Ensure that audit remarks, regulatory tasks, etc., are delivered by the squad within the Developer Experience Tribe in a timely manner.

What you bring:

• Experience architecting and delivering 24/7 critical distributed systems.

• Experience in defining and documenting architecture/solutions.

• Experience in communicating architecture/solutions to a wide audience with varying levels of literacy.

• Knowledge of DevOps best practices.

• Hands-On programming and Public Cloud Platform experience.

• The ability to “think big” and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology.

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, risk concerns, and a generic cross-tower and interdisciplinary understanding.

• Ability to build relationships and influence across organizational boundaries.

• Great verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Desire to work in an innovative and agile environment.

• Self-starter, able to quickly absorb new information and deal with ambiguity.

• Ability to understand dependencies across businesses and IT systems.

• Keeping abreast of trends and developments in the finance and technology industries.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of banking industry IT solutions and business.

• Experience with cross-platform architectures.

• Public Cloud Platform experience.
