We are seeking a motivated and experienced Manager/Senior Manager to join our Tax Operate Team in either Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö. We value extensive experience in the tax accounting and reporting area, whether gained from another professional firm or an in-house position, as well as an interest in technology and innovation.Given the role has a strong focus on Pillar Two, it offers great versatility, with a broad interface across tax advisory, accounting, and data capture within our clients’ ERP.As part of our Tax Operate team, you will collaborate across Business Tax, Tax Technology Consulting, and Transfer Pricing to ensure transparency and the best use of our skills.We operate in a dynamic and international environment with an informal tone, offering an exciting career path with professional challenges and personal development, where quality, interdisciplinarity, and collaboration is paramount.Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy and Technical Advisory:
  • Assisting clients in interpreting and communicating the OECD’s Pillar Two Guidance and the Swedish Minimum Taxation Act, including coordination with our Global Technical Pillar Two Committee for complex issues and providing input on the Swedish implementation of the rules.
  • Impact and Data Assessment:
  • Assisting clients in understanding the scope of the rules, including legal structure and data requirements based on our global data access model.
  • Finance System Enhancement:
  • Facilitating customers to improve their current accounting data to support better data output to Pillar Two.
  • Tax Process and Technology:
  • Supporting clients with establishing a solid Pillar Two process, including demonstrating Deloitte’s own Pillar Two calculation solutions and 3rd party Pillar Two solutions in collaboration with Deloitte Tax Technology Consulting and Deloitte Consulting.
  • Trusted Advisory:
  • Act as a trusted advisor on complex accounting matters, ensuring globally coordinated compliance and alignment with Pillar Two requirements.
  • Eminence:
  • Build and disseminate knowledge within the Tax & Legal practice in tax accounting, with a specific focus on Pillar Two implications and globally coordinated compliance.
  • Contribute to the establishment and development of the Tax Operate organisation, with a strong emphasis on globally coordinated compliance and Pillar Two expertise.
  • Leadership:
  • Lead and manage engagement teams to deliver exceptional client service, addressing globally coordinated compliance and Pillar Two considerations.

KravspecifikationSkills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in tax accounting, both IFRS and Swedish GAAP.
  • Understanding of the Pillar Two framework and its practical implications on large MNEs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to navigate complex global tax compliance requirements.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree within relevant field, e.g. law and/or economics
