This is a permanent role with one of my financial services clients based in Galway.Expertise Required:5+ years in systems engineering, including experience with contact center platforms like Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, or Amazon Connect.Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methods, software development, and automation.Knowledge of enterprise-scale architecture, ensuring high availability and business continuity.Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and VoIP/SIP technologies.Proven ability to work independently under pressure and document processes.Experience in 24/7 production environments.Key Skills:Ownership mentality with a focus on delivering results.Collaborative in fast-paced, team environments.Produces clean, testable code and solves complex problems.Passion for automation and continuous improvement.Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing abilities.Value Delivered:Leading technology solutions that address business challenges.Driving Agile development practices and improving platform stability.Simplifying systems through consistency and refactoring.Enhancing monitoring, telemetry, and operational stability.Supporting incident/crisis management and governance policies.
