In this pivotal role, you’ll help manage our cash, cash flow, and financial risk management activities. You’ll work closely with the Treasury Operations team and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective treasury operations. • Monitor internal foreign exchange risk positions (Legal entity, Plant, BU).
• Handle internal and external dealing with group companies and relationship banks.

Translation Exposure

• Hedge balance sheet position, including foreign currency denominated loans and receivables, and net profit of foreign operations.
• Hedge the net investments of foreign subsidiaries (equity hedging) in co-operation with Head of Treasury Operations.

Liquidity ManagementMonitor and refine the Group’s direct cash flow forecast.Conduct mid-term forecasting and maintaining continuous dialogue with internal stakeholders.Manage external short-term deposits.Handle commercial paper emissions in co-operation with the Head of Treasury Operations.Manage liquidity Interfaces from ERPs to Nomentia and other systems.Continuously develop cash flow forecasting and actual cash flow monitoring processes.Intercompany (IC) FinancingManage internal short-term loans and deposits.Oversee internal long-term loans.Monitor the Group’s IC loan portfolio.Handle transfer pricing related to intra-group loans and deposits.Risk Analysis and Market AnalysisConduct financial counterparty risk analysis.Manage the annual review of Ahlstrom’s internal credit rating model.Follow-up on financial markets and prepare related reporting.Additional ResponsibilitiesServe as an internal business partner for foreign exchange and cash flow forecasting (training and advisory).To be successful in this role, you should haveMaster’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Minimum of 5-10 years work experience in treasury, finance or related role.Strong understanding of FX trading, financial risk management, and cash forecasting.Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.Proactive personality with excellent teamworking skills, active dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.Previous knowledge of Power BI and data modelling is considered an asset.Ready to join our team?If this sounds like you then we’d love to hear from you!
