Step into a role where you can make a life-changing impact.Global P&O Services and Operations is a newly established SVP area anchored in Global People, Organisation and Corporate Affairs (POCA). The department consists of three key areas supporting the entire Novo Nordisk enterprise, Global Talent Acquisition, Global P&O Services, and Digital, Data & Analytics and is home to approximately 750 dedicated professionals. The position reports to the Executive Vice President of POCA.In Global P&O Services and Operations we foster a collaborative environment where creativity and strategic thinking thrive. Together, we develop and execute strategic plans for Global P&O Services and Operations to support long-term business objectives for POCA and ultimately Novo Nordisk. Based at our headquarters in Denmark, you will join a team that is passionate about making a difference for our employees and the patients we serve.About the roleAs the SVP Global P&O Services and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Novo Nordisk. You will collaborate across the organization to ensure our processes align with our business objectives and resonate effectively across diverse markets. Your responsibilities will include:Leadership and Strategic Alignment

  • Creating and executing strategic plans for Global P&O Services and Operations to support long-term business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to ensure best-in-class P&O processes, employee engagement, and performance.
  • Designing a cohesive global strategy for recruiting, onboarding, and talent attraction, ensuring alignment with Novo Nordisk Corporate Strategy as well as local labor laws and cultural nuances.

Operational excellence and efficiency

  • Designing world class scalable and adaptable P&O processes with digital developments as a significant leaver, aligned with Novo Nordisk’s objectives and in compliance with global and local regulations.
  • Driving digitalisation agenda across EVP area (POCA), owning portfolio of improvement projects (incl. key enterprise systems, analytics capabilities, and collaboration with DD&IT).
  • Driving cross-functional process optimisation, organisational transformation and initiatives fostering a culture of agility, collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications and ExperienceWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced senior leader with an Enterprise mindset who can bring the following qualifications to the role:

  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated expertise in strategic Human Resources and/or operational leadership roles, overseeing multiple subfunctions in an international environment.
  • Extensive Operations Services/Service Centre experience including experience with process optimization and global standardization.
  • Ability to set and drive strategic direction for people processes across the organisation, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and drive organisational efficiency in a complex matrix.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and manage a team of senior leaders, providing guidance and support fostering a positive working environment with a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including leaders, internal customers, partners, vendors, and regulators, to ensure alignment and support for transformation and initiatives.
  • Skilled in managing organisational change, ensuring smooth transitions and minimising disruptions while driving innovation and optimization.
