Are you a skilled and experienced engineer looking for your next role within a global technology organisation?Hobson Prior is seeking a Service Engineer to join a global technology leader in electrification and automation. In this role, you will provide maintenance and troubleshooting services for gas analysis equipment, ensuring smooth operations for customers. You will also play a key part in identifying opportunities to improve customer systems and support sales efforts with technical expertise. This is a field service role where you will work directly with clients to deliver impactful solutions across the island of Ireland.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on gas analysis equipment at customer sites.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, both remotely and onsite.
• Prepare materials and tools needed for service tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend solutions to prevent future issues.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and procedures.
• Calibrate instruments such as pressure, temperature, and flow devices.
• Collaborate with the sales team to confirm and evaluate technical solutions.
• Build strong relationships with customers and identify ways to enhance their operations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with servicing gas analysis equipment.
• Electrical or instrumentation qualification.
• Knowledge of installation, commissioning, and continuous gas analyzers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driving license in Ireland.
