Service & Spares Administrator – SligoLocation: Sligo – onsite role
Type: Full-time Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 39 hours per week (flexible working hours)Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing & engineering sector have an excellent opportunity for a Service & Spares Administrator to join their team in an open and friendly environment based at their offices in Sligo.This role offers the successful candidate with an opportunity to advance your career in a diverse and creative business. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in a purchasing or logistics environment with strong customer service & people skills.
Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.The key duties of this role will include:
- Working with customers and the company Service Engineers to identify what parts and services are required for the customers breakdown or planned maintenance.
- Working with the operations team to prepare spare parts packages and service packs for new projects.
- Using SAP accounting software to prepare quotations and manage orders and FLEETMATICS software to schedule Service Engineers.
- Placing orders with suppliers for parts and tracking them through the various systems to ensure that they arrive with our customers in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain excellent, positive business relationships with clients.
- The role will include other general ad hoc duties as appropriate.
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
- Experience working in Sales & Customer Management roles.
- Previous experience in the Engineering Service/Maintenance sector an advantage.
- Excellent phone etiquette when dealing with customers.
- Strong time management, organizational and record keeping skills.
- Self-motivated individual able to work on your own initiative.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Some technical knowledge and ability to identify parts on a drawing is a bonus.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Previous experience in using SAP Business Package is desirable.
- Fluent in English and strong communication & interpersonal skills are essential.
