A major industrial player in the automotive sector is looking for a committed and hands-on Shift Team Leader to supervise production teams and drive operational excellence. This role is ideal for a team-oriented leader with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coach production operators during shift operations.
Develop team versatility to adapt to changing customer and production needs.
Promote and monitor safe work behaviors and ensure compliance with safety rules.
Provide leadership and direction to foster ownership, responsibility, and skill development.
Deploy Lean tools and promote Lean thinking across the team.
Support the team in achieving quality, yield, and volume targets in collaboration with Learning & Development.
Lead improvement actions to reduce customer claims and enhance performance.
Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in mechanical or industrial fields.
3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation (3×8).
Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory, and process control.
LEAN mindset and experience with continuous improvement tools.
Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
Strong communication skills in English and French; German is a strong asset.
