You will report to the Shipping Desk Coordinator.Due to the joint venture between Unifeeder Shortsea, a division of Unifeeder A/S, and P&O Ferrymasters, this position will be hired at Unifeeder A/S.The jobAs a Shipping Desk Agent, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless and efficient transport order settlements in alignment with customer agreements.Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Strategically booking shipments through optimal routing.
• Vigilantly monitoring shipment timelines to ensure timely and efficient dispatch.
• Conducting daily capacity planning, forecasting, and coordinating vessel cargo readiness.
• Managing data within port and customs systems, including prebooking creation and container release.
• Facilitating clear and timely communication with various departments to achieve peak performance and maximum return.

Professional qualifications

• A university degree in transport, logistics, maritime studies, or a related field.
• Proficiency in both English and Polish.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic knowledge of IT and computer systems.

• Initiative and the ability to improve internal processes and inter-departmental cooperation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure effectively.
