Site Engineer/Assistant Project Manager (Piling)North Dublin/ Dublin€65-75kRequired for leading Piling and Foundations company based in Dublin.Responsible for overseeing and managing piling works on construction projects, ensuring that foundations are installed safely, accurately, and according to design specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution:

• Review piling designs, geotechnical reports, and structural drawings.
• Plan piling sequences and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper selection of piling methods (bored piles, driven piles, micro-piles, CFA piles, etc.)

Site Supervision & Quality Control:

• Monitor piling operations to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct load tests, integrity tests, and other quality control measures
• Ensure verticality, depth, and reinforcement placement meet design requirements.

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and method statements for piling works.
• Ensure proper operation of piling rigs, cranes, and associated equipment.

Coordination & Communication:

• Liaise with geotechnical engineers, designers, and contractors.
• Address any site-related technical issues and provide solutions.
• Communicate progress and challenges to project stakeholders.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain records of piling logs, test results, and site reports.
• Prepare daily progress reports and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Assist in billing and material reconciliation for piling activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of geotechnical engineering and piling techniques.
• Piling experience essential.
