Are you ready to be part of this journey?Job DescriptionAs the Society & Community Manager, you have a strong passion for the development of Älmhult and IKEA in Älmhult for the next generation.Your role involves:Leading and facilitating an agenda to develop and strengthen the society of Älmhult as a great and attractive place.The areas of development are focusing on Democratic Design education, Life at home research and Entrepreneurship where several initiatives already have started.Building and strengthening relations with relevant stakeholders in all levels in the society at large – local, regional and national.Amplifying Älmhult together with society at large for co-workers, inhabitants, and visitors.Driving and contributing to development projects that entice the next generation to work, live, and visit Älmhult.Key Responsibilities:Lead and contribute to the development of the place Älmhult to attract the next generation.Society relations, public affairs and to lead and strengthen networks for IKEA in Älmhult.Lead and develop the Society & Community team, focusing on performance and delivery as well as learning and development.Ensure a safe and healthy work environment while embodying IKEA’s culture and values.QualificationsWe’re in search of a dynamic Society & Community Manager who thrives in collaborative settings, embodies IKEA values, and is passionate about nurturing talent. Key skills include:Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.Experience in leading through change with strong leadership and co-creation skills.Capability to simplify processes and solve problems aligned with IKEA values.Deep knowledge of municipalities ways of working, political environment and general business development and company structure.Additional InformationThis permanent role is based in Älmhult and you will report to the Managing Director for IKEA Älmhult AB, Tina Petersson Lind.
