You will play a key role in developing and maintaining software applications that control our advanced laboratory equipment. In this role, you will work closely in an agile team with both senior and junior engineers, translating customer needs into robust software solutions while ensuring the integrity of the system’s architecture.This role will report to R&D System Manager. The role is a permanent contract full-time and you will be based at the HQ office in Uppsala.Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Several years of professional experience of product development in a Software Engineering role with a focus on C#/.NET
• Proficiency in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and desktop application development
• English and Swedish on a working level, both in speaking and writing

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Experience working with Life Sciences Instrumentation, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Lab automation
• Familiarity with C++ & Oracle databases
• Understanding of software architecture in distributed systems
• Professional experience with Computer System Validation and GAMP5 and regulatory requirements linked to our customers (21 CFR part 11)
• Knowledge about development tools used in software development e.g. Visual Studio, DevOps, Git, Mantis, Spira and tools for unit testing and test automation
