In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust data pipelines to support our analytics and decision-making processes. We operate within a dynamic environment, leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and best-in-class tools to drive data-driven insights and solutions.Our ideal candidate possesses the following attributes:Strong proficiency in Software Development with Agile methodology, with focus on designing, building and maintaining scalable, secure and performant applications that transform large volumes of data.Strong experience with GCPProficiency in the following: ReactJS and Python, commonly used in application development. Experience within AI/ ML would also be very advantageousGood understanding of Working with Front end development on React Js and Firestore with Python as a backend technology for building data pipelines and APIs. Should be able to work with AI and ML based use cases for solving use cases relating to Talent Management.Good understanding of application and cloud security.Understanding of testing frameworks for testing Front end and Backend solutions along with technical expertise in testing AI ML algorithms. Knowledge of Test/Behavior Driven Development is a plus.Familiarity with DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment of data pipelines, including version control systems like Git.Key responsibilities (title) A day in your life with usKey responsibilities (text) As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for:Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable applications to support secure transfer of data, analytics and reporting applications. In agile methodology with daily scrum.Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that address business needs. Also need to provide support when there is any production incident.Leveraging cloud-based data processing technologies, such as Google Cloud Platform, to build efficient and reliable data pipelines.Implementing best practices for data quality, reliability, and performance optimisation.Contributing to the automation of data pipeline deployment and monitoring using DevOps practices and tools.Participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous learning activities to enhance your skills and contribute to the team’s success.Team vision ( title) Our team within IKEATeam vision (text) You will join our dynamic team within Group Digital, working alongside talented colleagues from diverse backgrounds in Data & Analytics, Technology, Product, and Design.
