Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Software Tester (ServiceNow) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on siteYour tasks

• Definition of test plans and detailed test cases based on business and technical requirements;
• Design and construction of test scenarios and manual test scripts;
• Execution of manual tests in both functional and integration testing phases;
• Reporting, logging, and follow-up of defects and incidents;
• Test coordination, including collaboration with business analysts, developers, and product owners;
• Participation in test review meetings and preparation of test progress reports;
• Support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with a minimum 11 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Strong experience in the manual testing of ServiceNow applications in enterprise environments;
• Experience with ServiceNow testing practices, including Test Management and Release cycles;
• Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira);
• Experience preparing test data, ideally using SQL and relational databases;
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., ServiceNow Test Management, Zephyr, …);
• Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, regression, exploratory testing);
• Knowledge of test automation approaches;
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and their impact on testing cycles;
• Familiarity with ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) and HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery) modules;
• The following certificates would be considered as an asset: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM (formerly ITBM), ServiceNow Certified Test Management 2.0 (or equivalent practical experience), ISTQB Foundation Level or higher;
• Excellent command of the English language, French would be an asset.
