We turn eco-friendly into the most convenient and effortless option available.Secondhand marketplaces have been stuck with the same model since the 90s, failing to actually reduce fast-fashion consumption because of the effort they require from the user.On Naha marketplace, buyers can see all available options from a single product page, just like a normal e-commerce. Searching a piece, making a decision and paying just takes a few seconds, instead of days. Items are sold by resellers, secondhand stores and fashion retailers, who can upload inventory in minutes by connecting their e-commerce or ERP system, accessing new revenue instead of throwing away unsold garments.Our model eliminates the barriers to sustainable shopping and drives businesses into the circular economy, making eco-friendly choices effortless for everyone.Naha is supported by and its network, providing strong technical, business and funding support.The Founder & CEO , navigated fashion reseller and Computer Engineering student, has both a deep domain expertise and the ability to build the product, and is looking for a co-founder with a software / UX engineering background.Accomplishments & Mid-term goalsWe have built the basic infrastructure of operational processes and an MVP with automated end-to-end transactions between sellers and buyers. The current MVP, focused on the sneakers vertical, is already enjoying good early traction – in the tens of thousands € of sales per month.We are now working on:

  • The development of a platform that fully satisfies the customer need with the best possible performance
  • EU expansion outside of the current test market, Italy
  • Increasing our user base of both sellers and buyers, both via technological development and communication efforts
  • Reaching scalable and sustainable unit-economics
  • Being in the position to raise a seed round in Q1 2025

Naha is looking for a passionate hacker, with a Github account and/or personal projects that prove you have a keen interest in solving problems through code. You will contribute to developing the best performing platform in the industry.Responsibilities

  • System design: architect state-of-the-art web applications and backend services
  • Back-end development: Develop and deploy the platform and internal software solutions, build CI/CD pipelines
  • Front-end Development: Collaborate with the team to conceive and implement the platform, optimizing for performance and accessibility

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Python or other modern object-oriented programming languages
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Understanding of web technologies
  • Basic Javascript / Typescript or willing to learn
  • Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 or willing to learn

Nice to have / how to distinguish yourself

  • Docker, possibly Kubernetes
  • PostgreSQL
  • Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Startup experience
