Job Category: ITJob Description:We are extending our card payment IT applications to public cloud and need an experienced cloud architect to support our teams bringing high-performing and resilient mainframe systems to the cloud.As our new solution architect, you will be architecting systems that are the lifeblood of everyday banking card payments. Your contributions will directly affect how cards and payment services help our customers across the Nordic countries.About the Everyday Banking Individuals tribeOur purpose is to ensure seamless day-to-day digital banking for personal customers and deliver on the Danske Bank strategy which continues the digital transformation with high ambitions on customer experience in the cards, accounts, and payments domains. At the same time rejuvenating the technology stack moving towards cloud and offering new services which meet our customers evolving needs.What you can expect

• Design and lead the development of new solutions, alongside both technical and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical insights, guidance, and ideate solutions to achieve business outcomes in the most efficient way.
• You will be part of defining new data products, creating target architectures, and safeguarding the health and quality of our systems.
• Design and review services for performance, maintainability, and reliability, taking technical responsibility for the current and future state of our solutions and architecture.
• Work in a cross-functional agile squad while also collaborating with other architects within your cluster of squads and across the tribe.

About youYou are an effective communicator who exhibits good technical understanding, promotes a collaborative environment, and supports development teams. You can handle the pressure of working with zero-tolerance systems that serve online card payments 24/7. Taking responsibility for a system portfolio is second nature to you, as you ensure high-level documentation and create roadmaps towards target architectures while evaluating the impact of design decisions on a solution level.You build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and third parties, setting the technical direction and communicating priorities clearly. You understand your role within a large corporation and ensure architecture compliance with enterprise architecture standards and guard rails.SkillsThis is what we expect you bring to the table:

• Proven track record of architecting public cloud solutions, particularly AWS.
• Skills in managing and designing complex infrastructure solutions according to best practices and patterns.
• Ability and experience building architecture roadmaps.
• Ability to communicate design choices and alternatives clearly and systematically to various stakeholders.
• Experience in building Microservices, Data pipelines, CQRS, Observability, Streaming, Event-driven pub/sub.
• A Microsoft .Net background would be beneficial as a majority of the development environment is Microsoft based.
• Understanding regulatory and compliance requirements around the digital banking domain, such as PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR, etc. is also considered beneficial.
