Read more: .This recruitment is carried out anonymously.Group ICT Application Services Unit is looking for aSOLUTION DESIGNER, SAP BWto join our team in a temporary 3-year position in the role of Solution Designer, Reporting and Analytics with a special focus on supporting reporting and analytics development.Your role in the future MetsäIn this role, you will have two core responsibilities. First, you will provide hands-on support and development expertise for SAP BW reporting within one of our business areas. Second, you will take ownership of ongoing development efforts as a Product Owner (PO) in the supply chain management process area, helping to drive continuous improvement and value creation through data and analytics.As a Solution Designer, you will play a key role in translating business needs into technical solutions. You’ll analyze change requests and user stories, design and validate new functionalities, and guide the development work carried out by our external partners. Acting as a central link between business stakeholders and IT, you will help ensure that our solutions are high-quality, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with both architectural standards and business goals.Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the Product Owner for continuous development initiatives in your area of responsibility
• Designing and specifying enhancements to SAP BW applications and related solutions
• Supporting and validating implementation work delivered by external vendors
• Managing operative supplier collaboration, including reviewing design proposals, workload estimates, and deliverables
• Conducting quality control to ensure adherence to development guidelines and best practices
• Reviewing improvement suggestions from incidents and root cause analyses
• Creating and maintaining solution documentation in cooperation with business and ICT stakeholders
• Ensuring smooth handover of new solutions to support teams and assisting in related training and knowledge sharing

• Proven experience in SAP BW development, including data modeling and reporting
• Familiarity with end-to-end supply chain processes is an advantage
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into well-designed technical solutions
• Experience working in agile or continuous development environments, preferably with Product Owner responsibilities
• Strong communication and coordination skills, especially when working with vendors and stakeholders
• Structured and quality-driven approach to development and documentation
• Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
