Read more: .This recruitment is carried out anonymously.We are looking for aSOLUTION DESIGNER, PRODUCTION AND MANUFACTURING SYSTEMSto join us in Group ICT, ICT Production process application function, in Espoo, Tampere or at one of Metsä’s mill site locations.What do you get to do?In this role you get to take responsibility for ICT solution development for Metsä Group’s production, manufacturing and mill warehousing systems together with your colleagues. You are in a key role capturing development needs as well as implementing and coordinating their execution with internal stakeholders and external vendors.Your responsibilities:

  • Identify improvement opportunities within own area by understanding business processes and industry requirements, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage and/or participate in continuous development, agreed implementation projects, and lead project definition workshops with business and vendor team members.
  • Work with Metsä’s ERP project and ICT teams to successfully implement the SAP S/4 HANA based system to Metsä Group.
  • Create and maintain the solution documentation together with business, vendors, and other ICT teams and ensure that the documentation corresponds the existing business processes and technical setup.
  • Act as 3rd tier application support for complicated incidents

You are action and development oriented, and you have result focused approach. We appreciate proactive way of working, quality and results should be on your focus as well as. You have some years’ experience of production processes or manufacturing execution systems. Most importantly you have a lot eagerness to learn new and develop oneself. We will support you in developing your skills and growing to the position in the areas that are not familiar to you. This role requires fluent Finnish and English language skills both in written and spoken.In addition, we hope you to have:

  • Some years of relevant experience in ICT or production environment ICT and a relevant degree (e.g. BSc or MSc)
  • Basics of SAP MM and EWM or WM modules
  • Interest or knowledge of RFID technology
  • Vendor management skills in multivendor and international environment.
  • Ability to turn business requirements into implementable solution concepts and document them.
  • Readiness for occasional travelling
