You bring 2-4 years of experience working in a sourcing environment. With that you also have experience in developing business development roadmaps, contract management, negotiations, business analysis and project management. You have good knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing the logistics fulfilment industry.You have knowledge in following areas:

• Good business understanding and excellent knowledge of supply chain, warehousing operations and last mile transportation
• Excellent knowledge of the customer and co-worker needs, demands and expectations on the markets
• Change and stakeholder management
• Financial competence and understanding of the financial impact on total network
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Furthermore you are passionate about understanding the IKEA business and customer needs to influence improvement with focus on customer satisfaction. Naturally you share the IKEA vision, values and culture. As a person you have good communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative mind-set in building relationships across the organisation. A large part of the work involves being in contact with all our last mile transportation partners, solving the problems that may arise in the business and developing it in the direction that IKEA need – at as low a cost as possible with good quality and satisfied customers. We also collaborate a lot internally with the various functions within IKEA, we can often contribute with expertise in both our internal ways of working as well as the transport industry and its cost components. Competence in transport is something I think is very important for a Sourcing Developer.The financial mind is also something that is important in our everyday lives as we are responsible for all costs related to our business, and we spend a lot of time analyzing and following up on the cost piece together with our Sourcing Analyst and BNO. Last but not least, negotiations are of course something that is important in the work. We often negotiate, both internally and externally, which is something I think you have to think is fun to thrive in the role of Sourcing Developer.So, bottom line: A lot of analysis, negotiation and a lot of collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.”Furthertmore you will be:

• Responsible for securing long term sourcing development and implementation for customer fulfilment capacities
• Responsible for driving the process for building market intelligence, for the development of a healthy pool of potential service partners and for long-term supplier relationship
• Responsible for leading assigned sourcing activities, projects and initiatives in the market
• As an expert in strategic sourcing, responsible for sharing knowledge with colleagues and business partners to support their competence development
• Contribute to the global improvement projects and the development of global and market sourcing process, ways of working, tools and working method
• Responsible for ensuring that the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda is included in all aspect of the business directly connected to and influenced by Strategic Sourcing
