Look no further – I have the perfect challenge for you!My name is Marie Ågren and I joined Telia two years ago as Head of People & Culture (P&C) in the commercial unit Telia Sweden. I have a fantastic team that cater for the people agenda of Telia Sweden, across the units for consumer, enterprise, customer service and delivery, Sweden IT as well as our infrastructure unit.As from 1st of December, our team of people partners have expanded with specialist roles within Swedish labor law, Swedish work environment and reward partners for the Swedish context.I am now recruiting a specialist for work environment, rehabilitation and wellbeing. The role is ensuring Telia’s work environment related processes, tools and structures effectively support Telia’s leaders in their responsibility to provide a great, and safe, place to work across Sweden.Ready to make better happen?In an overarching role, fully accountable as the Swedish subject matter expert for work environment, you provide line managers and HR colleagues with tools and processes, as well as guidance in complex situations.In this role, internal stakeholders you work closely with are people partners, the safety organization, other specialists in the P&C community and Telia’s real estate function. In complex situations you also work close to line managers. External stakeholders are the Swedish Work Environment Authority, our external suppliers and the Swedish Social Security Agency.Example of responsibilities:

  • Accountable that Telia has systematic ways of working for work environment in Sweden
  • Accountable as process owner, and hence information owner, within the area
  • Accountable for interaction with the Swedish Work Environment Authority
  • Accountable for contracts with external suppliers
  • Coordinate the central work environment committee
  • Set, and follow up, goals and governance (policy, instructions, guidelines, etc.)
  • Set, and follow up, structure for collaboration with safety-organization
  • Support in risk assessment for changes across Business units/Functions in Sweden
  • Reporting related to work environment for annual report and sustainability for Sweden
  • Develop and provide training to managers, HR and work environment representatives
  • Guide people partners and managers with subject matter expertise in complex errands

Is this you?You truly believe in the power and value created by straight forward and readily available structures for work environment, both for managers and employees, and you know how to engage others.You excel in simplifying, making it is easy to understand how to promote a safe, effective and engaging work environment. You have strong analytical skills as the area is governed by quite complex legal requirements, and you are known to apply systematic ways of working.You enjoy and dare to take accountability in a subject matter expert-role, and you have experience of doing that, still involving your stakeholders effectively. Telia Company does not have a group-level team for work environment, implying this role is a fully accountable in Sweden. Hence, it is critical you have solid experience of a similar role, to be able to steer, take decision and take full ownership.As a person, you are result oriented – e.g. you focus on results rather than activities. You are a true team player sharing knowledge proactively with stakeholders and are strong at collaborating across roles and functions.You are fluent in Swedish and English, verbally and in writing. Most of the work is done in Sweden, in Swedish, and as our group language is English, all instructions and ways of working need to be available in both languages. Further, English is also important as you will be interacting with Telia subject matter experts in other countries.Last, but not least, you are highly knowledgeable in the legislation around work environment and rehabilitation in Sweden.Your experience:

  • University degree, min 3 years, in Human resources or equivalent.
  • Solid experience as a work environment specialist with at least five years’ experience in a large organization comprising a variety of populations/professions
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR-related roles
  • Solid experience from being a process owner
  • Solid experience from negotiating and managing contracts with external suppliers
  • Solid experience of being accountable for interacting with external authorities in the area
  • Documented experience of creating and applying structured ways of working
