We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.A key strategic role for the site, reporting to the Director – HR; this role shall have primary responsibility to lead part of our HR Operations Team.This individual will plan, lead and coordinate strategic initiatives, policies and staff, ensuring legal and HR compliance. Key areas of focus include, HR Operations, Strategic Business Partnering, Absence Management, Employee Relations and HR Data and Analytics.Position attributes:· Be a visible model of leadership, managerial excellence, integrity, and champion the Team Lilly approach to bring high-performance standards and systems.· Work with global and local leadership to support the achievement of business objectives and ensuring strategy, people and technology are aligned to optimize effectiveness and meet business objectives.· Ensure a strong personal commitment, and model behaviours towards an inclusive culture that embraces excellence and accountability; while retaining an open and diverse place to work.Key Responsibilities:This leader must be an experienced HR professional with deep knowledge of HR processes and procedures needed to support a multi-national organisation. The individual should be able to manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset.Strategic Leadership:· Create an environment of continuous improvement and use of automation by establishing new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve employee experiences.· Educate leaders and influence management actions and decisions to maintain legal and company policy compliance and values. Ensure compliance with labour laws and other statutory requirements.HR Operations· Lead the team in the enhancement and execution of the end-to-end HR Operations strategy.· Drive the organisations’ compliance with local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance and drive excellence.· Maintain knowledge of trends, External benchmarking and best practices and regulatory changes.· Conduct analysis of organisational trends including review of reports and data and analytics from the organisations’ human resource information system (Workday)Position Preferred Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred with 10+ years of successful experience across various HR functions.· Experience working in a multi-national manufacturing environment.· Work effectively in a highly changing and dynamic environment, demonstrating the ability to learn and adjust quickly, and bring others along when designing or implementing new ideas· Broad understanding of the technical and functional components of human resources and technical proficiency in HR processes· Knowledge of Irish employment laws and relevant institutions.· Experience in developing and executing human resource strategies and presenting organisation design concepts to internal leadership teams and senior leaders· Strong influencing, analytical and problem-solving skills along with supervisory and leadership skills· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail· Effective negotiation skills; has the resilience to deal with adversity and pressure while staying composed and adapting to the environment and situation when necessary· Comfortable to challenge status quo, provide and receive feedback, deal with what if” scenarios and manage ambiguity wellLilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
