Job DescriptionAre you passionate about developing your already proven marketing skills in a very attractive global role?Bring your unique mix of commercial and creative skills into play and help craft compelling and innovative global marketing campaign within the LEGO® Star Wars™ team!Core ResponsibilitiesOverall, you will set and implement long and short-term strategies and plans for LEGO® STAR WARS™ to deliver on brand and commercial objectives. This role has a focus on the Kids consumer group, and responsibilities include:Develop and bring to life key parts of the Global Marketing strategy for LEGO® Star Wars™, with a special focus on communication, innovation, strategy and deployment.Be the primary driver in creating and carrying out best-in-class Owned, Earned, Shared & Paid (OESP) marketing campaigns; including continuous engagement and a robust, insights-based communication toolbox.Drive alignment and orchestrate collaboration across a wide spectrum of internal and external collaborators.Foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership with IP Partner to unlock shared marketing opportunities.Drive communication innovation: explore new channels and discover new ways of engaging Star Wars™ kids and families.Please note the role is based in Billund (Denmark), and relocation assistance is not offered.Play your part in our team succeedingThis opportunity exists within our Product and Marketing Development (PMD) organization, where there are two Product Groups (PG); Core Businesses and New Businesses. Both are jointly responsible for the current and future portfolio of franchises and the global P&L – ensuring strategies are developed and carried out and to deliver short and long-term commercial and strategic ambitions.The LEGO® STAR WARS™ franchise is part of PG Core Business Entertainment IP Team and offers a unique opportunity to develop innovative products and build marketing propositions for a cross-generational audience of kids and adults.As part of the marketing team, this role will play an outsized role in building LEGO® love with one of the most iconic global IP licenses, STAR WARS™.Do you have what it takes?Substantial marketing experience from a strong consumer brand – preferably in a global or regional role, with a proven track record in communication development and high intuition for business.Passion for fandom marketing and community engagement experience is an advantageAudience First approach and to think consumer-first and know how to apply both creative and data to drive the right global initiatives and make the appropriate franchise decisions.Campaign Leadership Experience in developing and leading product campaigns, including agency management. Effective presentation and writing skills with the ability to convey a compelling and concise message, and to engage and inspire colleagues.Experience in driving effective campaigns and communications beats connecting across a sophisticated OESP ecosystem with a particular focus on Owned, Earned and Shared media.Effective communication skills – a great relationship builder and negotiator with proven ability to through collaboration create followership with a diverse group of team members and partners across multiple business areas, geographies, and agency partners.Results Oriented – Successful experience in decision making, analytics, time management, and marketing innovation skills. Ability to inspire change, try new things and evaluate business potential, turning findings into action.Future thinking – represents a curious mentality, focused on innovation and experimentation with new opportunities and partners.High level Proficiency Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power Point, Google Analytics, PowerBI.#LI-EH1Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
