Overview:As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to work in Natural Language Processing/AI as you support UI development and API services for the iCIMS Talent Cloud! You’ll build SPA user experiences and scalable back-end cloud API services using mostly React and node.js. Leveraging your expert knowledge, and solid experience with React and node.js,we’ll support your continued training! • Build scalable AI solutions for global hiring.

• Independently architect, develop, test, and maintain, scalable user interfaces and REST API services primarily with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Lead, mentor and own sprint outcomes for small teams.
• Collaborate closely in a small, focused, supportive, and energetic team of Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers
• Mentor Software Engineers.
• Grow and learn with support from mentors and many training resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology field and 4+ years’ experience developing software OR 6+ years of experience developing software.

• Expert in React, preferably with experience using node.js
• Proficiency with test automation and unit testing.
• Experience with modern SPA and REST API-based architectures
• Proficiency with Software Engineering best practices
• Strongc ommunication and interpersonal skills with ability to articulate thoughts and ideasash clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
• Proven track record of mentoring and leading junior engineers on the team
