Since 2001, we have been developing innovative high-end solutions for cleanrooms & hygienic environments, architectural metalwork purposes and production & manufacturing sites across Ireland, the UK and internationally.Our company values include building a lasting relationship with our customers to enable PRO Stainless become a trusted partner and projecting these values to all stakeholders, both internal & external.Due to ongoing expansion we are now recruiting full-time Stainless Steel Polishers to join our dynamic, proactive and diverse team here in PRO Stainless.Reporting to the Polishing Team Leader, the role involves:

  • Grind, Polish and finish stainless steel products to high spec and quality standard
  • The ability to finish products to a very fine surface where required
  • Knowledge of fabrication drawings essential
  • Examine the surface of the metal or welded joint to detect any defects, dents or imperfections in the joint and rectify
  • Working as part of a team to deliver high quality product in the required timeframe
  • Cleaning components prior to inspection and shipping
  • Working to the required safety and quality standards
  • Keeping area neat and tidy at all times to promote a safe and productive work environment

Experience and skills required:

  • The ideal candidate for the Polisher position is a self-starter who will work diligently and at a fast pace without overlooking safety & attention to detail.
  • A curious mind & the willingness to learn new techniques and processes
  • Experience in a busy manufacturing environment is desired
  • Flexible/hardworking attitude is essential
  • Good understanding of English is required
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must work well in a team environment but also have the initiative to work on tasks without supervision.
