Our division has around 2000 employees worldwide, and we are market leader withing diagnostic tests for allergy and autoimmune diseases.The Product Innovation department is an interdisciplinary team with driven and engaged colleagues that belongs to the R&D organization. The team is responsible for identify and evaluate new product business opportunities in allergy and autoimmunity and promote innovation in close collaboration with other functions.We are now looking to expand and further strengthen our team with a new colleague. Then this opportunity may be for you!How will you make an impactYou will work cross-functional to support IDDs strategy by exploring current, adjacent or new areas for the business. We are involved in and drive internal and external collaborations as well as scientific, clinical and technological evaluations with the aim to develop new product concepts and proposals.What will you doIdentify and evaluate potential growth opportunities in all IDD’s business areasDevelop strategies for maintaining and updating our innovation pipelineEngage in, and drive scientific and clinical collaborations with key opinion leaders in relevant areas, including take part in writing scientific articles, and attend scientific conferencesPlan, lead and participate in projects, activities and studies of strategic importance in collaboration with other R&D functions as well as external collaboratorsCollaborate with Global Marketing and Business Development to conduct market research, competitor analysis and technology evaluationsTransfer ideas into product proposalsHow will you get here?Education:A scientific degree (preferably PhD, minimum Master’s degree) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology or equivalentExperience:Extensive experience from life science industry, preferably within the diagnostic or medical device fieldStrong scientific track recordProject- or activity managementExperience in collaborating with scientific, clinical and/or commercial partnersKnowledge in allergy and/or autoimmunity diagnosticsProduct and assay development within the immunodiagnostics areaExperience with IP related questions is a meritKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Curious, strong interests in scientific and technology innovationProven ability to synthesize clinical and scientific data to support strategic decisionsStrong business understandingSelf-motivated, independent and strong critical thinking.Strong collaboration skills and cross-functional work experience with proven track record to lead activities and collaborationsAbility to navigate in a complex and agile work environmentExcellent interpersonal, oral and written, communication skillsProficient level of EnglishJoin us and help us make a difference in the world of healthcare!Please apply as soon as possible, the position will be filled as soon as suitable candidate is found.
