Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toGlobal Category ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support Procurement department activities. Each day, you will lead/support process improvement teams. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and communicating periodic trend and performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The work model for the role is: #hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in Vittuone. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supporting the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the global Category leader. • Negotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renew pricelists, terms and conditions. • Running benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives. • Creating local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and updates/maintains frame contracts. • Supporting regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies. • On-boarding new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and run regular supplier evaluations and provide supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers. • Fostering communication internally, externally, and between different Divisions, Business Units and Functions and support the implementation of PL activities and initiatives in the Region/Country through this clear communication. • Highly skilled in team working and flexibility.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Office suite, Teams and PowerBI.
• Degree in Management or Mechanical Engineering, Economy, STEM.
• You are at ease communicating in Italian and English both written and spoken.
