This role provides an excellent opportunity for career development and the chance to work on cutting-edge structural engineering projects.As an Structural Engineer at Arup, you will:

  • Undertake the structural engineering design for projects, from concept to detailed and construction, reporting to senior engineers and project managers.
  • Coordinate through the design process and integrating with associated design requirements from various design partners.
  • Prepare structural calculations, reports and specifications, supporting the delivery of designs through the construction process.
  • Work independently and be responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own work.

Does this role inspire you?We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual with a passion for structural engineering and a commitment to sustainable design. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:

  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in structural design.
  • Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or similar. MEng or equivalent preferred.

We also value:

  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Experience dealing with contractors queries and attendance at site meetings.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software packages.
