The ERC-funded research project DecouplingIT is looking for a student assistant with a starting date as soon as possible. Candidates need to hold a BSc degree, and they need to have a high academic work ethic with experience in basic social science and computer science.The student assistant is expected to work on the following tasks:

• Development and maintenance of the Decoupling IT project website
• Good knowledge of WordPress and the ability to navigate technical difficulties that may be encountered
• Planning and coordinating meetings internally in the project
• Various formatting tasks in relation to research publications
• Extensive planning and coordination of bigger events like advisory board meetings
• Creation and co-creation of Decoupling IT website material
• Generating ideas for various areas of the project
• Various ad hoc tasks to help the researchers when they need it
• Academic writing, like literature reviews, that can be used as informative overviews of research areas or for writing projects within the Climate IT field.

Especially the academic writing skills will be appreciated. They are expected to be familiar with literature on ‘twin transition’ and similar technological decoupling discussions, since they will contribute to a review of literature on the topic.The IT-University offers

The employment is in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and HK.
