The employment begins in June 2025 or as agreed.Your RoleYou will work at the Starting Point student service and administration services at the Language Centre. You will assist our students at the service point, via email, and over the phone. You provide students with accurate and efficient assistance with matters such as annual enrollment, AYY membership, study certificates, and student benefits. You will manage a variety of study administration tasks, including registering study rights and study credits in Sisu, handling applications for non-degree study rights, and readmission. Your job Language Centre administration services include advising students on course registrations and assisting Language Centre teachers in managing study credit registrations and course implementations.What We ExpectIn the role of Study Secretary, you need an organized approach to work, the ability to work independently, and good communication and interpersonal skills. You can manage broad entities, but you are also precise and pay attention to necessary details. You don’t shy away from routines and are service-oriented. Success in this role requires a smooth command of information systems and actively developing your own expertise. You have good Finnish and English language skills and suitable education.We consider experience in higher education administration tasks and key systems (Sisu, Opintopolku), working in an international work community, and customer service as an advantage for the applicant.What We OfferThe Service Points team comprises a diverse group of experts working to promote the smooth progression of students’ studies. You will receive comprehensive onboarding and the full support of the team. You will have the opportunity to assist a diverse group of students and participate in the process development of study administration tasks.We work in a hybrid model and have flexible working hours.
