Our mission is simple: to deliver smart, sustainable solutions-and ensure everyone gets home safely.We are looking for a Subsea Project Engineer to join our team in Stavanger or Oslo, Norway. In this role, you’ll lead the technical execution of a work package from design through to delivery and installation. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring engineering, documentation, and execution meet client expectations, project timelines, and budget requirements.Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of assigned packages, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, standards, and inspection plans
  • Act as the key technical interface for suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Review and approve supplier documentation and progress reports
  • Manage risks, deviations, and design changes
  • Oversee documentation and hardware handover for testing and installation
  • Support procurement, quality, and fabrication follow-up
  • Participate in design reviews, FATs, and interface meetings
  • Track and report package status
  • Drive continuous improvement and apply lessons learned

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
  • Experience in subsea oil and gas
  • Proven success in managing technical packages or scopes
  • Proficient in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred); simulation tools a plus
  • Solid knowledge of subsea codes and standards
  • Skilled in reviewing technical documents and interpreting fabrication drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (Norwegian is a plus)
