Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesThis business unit is our logistics hub in Europe and provides logistical services for METTLER TOLEDO in the worldwide service business and in the import and export of products. To strengthen the Supply Chain Operations team in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking for a committed and independent Supply Chain Transportation Specialist 100% (all genders)In this role, your responsibilities would include:

• You monitor and evaluate delivery performance of carriers and logistics partners for the EU-HUB.
• You design and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• You manage routes, lead times, and costs for transportation efficiency.
• You maintain carrier agreements to ensure compliance.
• You handle escalations between carriers, vendors, and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• You lead regular meetings with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and carriers.
• You oversee data extraction and analysis to identify transportation improvements.
• You support the implementation of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) with 3PL.
• You plan and execute logistics improvement projects and act as deputy for the Inbound Specialist.

What You Need to SucceedFollowing requirements are necessary for this role:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Transportation or a related field.
• Ideally you have five years of proven experience in supply chain, logistics and carrier management.
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to address challenges effectively.
• You work independently and confidently handle responsibilities while effectively collaborating and communicating with team members to manage multiple priorities.
• You are proficient in supply chain software and tools and have strong skills in SAP and MS office.
• You are fluent in English, proficiency in German is an advantage.
• You possess a growth mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
• You stand out for your ability to think critically and focus on end-to-end (E2E) solutions.
