As a Supply Manager at Convion Oy, you will be part of the global HD Hyundai group and play a pivotal role in overseeing our procurement, supply network and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. In close collaboration with Convion’s experts and project managers, you will lead the procurement and development of our supply chain and product cost in line with strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include supply process development, procurement, and development of the supply chain together with Convion parent company HD Hydrogen. While working across teams to ensure continuous improvement in product cost, quality, and delivery capability.Additionally, you will support the sales process by providing timely and accurate information on product costs and delivery times. This role involves fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within Convion and building strong relationships with key and potential new suppliers. Work tasks
Develop Convion supply chain according to Convion requirements and strategy
Lead procurement, manufacturing, and supply of products in cooperation with project manager and Convion organization
Manage external supply network and ensure continuous development of product cost, quality, and delivery capability
Support Convion sales process by providing timely information on product costs and delivery times
Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration between Convion organizations
Develop and maintain relationships with key and potential new suppliers
We are looking for
A relevant degree in engineering, procurement, logistics, or a related field
Sufficient experience in procurement, manufacturing, sales, and quality management
Capability of leading successful projects with supply and external networks
Experience managing and developing high-performing networks
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, cost, and quality
Fluent written and spoken English
Nice to have:Familiarity with mechanical engineering industry practices and manufacturing environments
Experience working with suppliers or partners in the mechanical or industrial manufacturing sector
Knowledge of PLM and ERP systems
